how to install

how to install

Ok, here is the install procedure for all you who are not familiar:

- Install Eclipse only (I have no crack for Cougar)
- Unpack the patched .exe files to C:\ecl\2008.1\bin\pc\ overwriting the originals. You can back the original .exe files up just in case.
- Put the license.dat somewhere (I keep it in c:\ecl\home\), then edit c:\ecl\home\$eclrc.bat and make sure there is something like this in the file:

SET LM_LICENSE_FILE=C:\ECL\HOME\LICENSE.DAT

That's it.​

من دانلودش نكردم ولي پسوندهاي فايلهاي داخل فايل زيپ شده چي هستن ؟ ميشه بونيسيش ؟
پست شماره 2 (‌راهنمايي نصب) رو بخونيد حتما بدرد ميخوره

These are the steps I followed:

1. I installed the Dotnet framework 2.0 (look in the third party folder)

2. Launched the install shield installer and Installed only Eclipse

3. Extracted the patch archive. Overwrote files in C:\ecl\2008.1\bin\pc\
Make sure you overwrite the files, otherwise you will have problems

4. Copied the LICENCE_2008.dat file to "c:\ecl\home\" and renamed it to LICENSE.dat

5. Open c:\ecl\home\$eclrc.bat - and look for the following section:

: USE THE SCHLUMBRGER LICENSE TOOL TO CONFIGURE THE SETTING OF LM_LICENSE_FILE
: OR OVERRIDE THE DEFAULT SETTING ON THE FOLLOWING LINE
: SET LM_LICENSE_FILE=%ECLARCH%\MACROS\LICENSE.DAT
:
add the following line just below the above section -
Quote:
SET LM_LICENSE_FILE=C:\ECL\HOME\LICENSE.DAT
Make sure the ":" (colon) character is not on this line, otherwise, it is taken as a comment (you dont want that)

1- اگر بالا را مطالعه فرمایید این قسمت مربوط به نرم افزارهای اکتشاف نفت است نه مخازن تحت فشار !

2- "نصب از نسخه اورژینال و همراه با اجازه نامه رسمی شرکت Coade با ارزان ترین قیمت " !!!!!!!!! اجازه نامه رسمی کجا بود ؟ مگه شما نماینده رسمی شرکت Coade هستید ??
