ya these two sentences are different
actually first is past tense, the action that happen in the past time but second one is a passive form , it means u don`t know who write that letter

I guess it was 78 or 79. Those days ILI was grate and it was the best institute in English learning, there were grate teachers. I remember, one of our teachers had lived in England for long time, she was like a native teacher
But, nowadays they use a simple trick; more levels, more money! I heard ILI's quality is not satisfactory now

They use old educational methods like school. My cousin says her teacher's accent is awful and she reads like 1 grade primary school. Like this ; THIS .... IS .... A.... NEW.....CAR

what a great software! I used to use longman dictionary's trainer which includes some special words of special subjects, but it's really something.
it's really easy to find one for your computer, mobile, etc by a search in google, I found and downloaded one easily.

I should mention, that time, each level was as long as a semester in university. I guess they have divided it to 2 or 3 levels now

? By the way , do you have special goal by learning English ? like taking IELTS or TOEFL
