حواریون به عیسی(علیه السلام) گفتند: ای معلم خوب به ما بیاموز که سخت ترین چیزها در عالم چیست؟ فرمود: سخت ترین چیز خشم خداوند بر بندگان است. گفتند: به چه وسیله می توان از خشم خداوند در امان بود؟ فرمود: به فرو بردن خشم خود پرسیدند: منشأ خشم چیست؟ پاسخ داد: خود بزرگ بینی، گردن کشی و تحقیر مردم.

Apostles said to Prophet Isa (Jesus Christ PBUH): O teacher! Effectively teach us what are the most rigorous things in this world? He said: The most rigorous is the anger of God over his servants. They said: How can one be secured from God's anger? He said: By swallowing one's own anger. They asked: What is the origin of anger? He answered: Pride, violence, offensively reproaching people, self proclaimed greatness, killing and disgracing other people.
