اتحادیه جهانی معماران International Union of Architects یا Union internationale des Architectes-UIA در 28 ژوئن سال 1948 با هدف سازماندهی معماران و سازمانهای ملی معماری فارغ از ملیت، نژاد يا شیوه های معماری در لوزان سویس تاسیس گردید این سازمان با 27 عضو آغاز گردید و امروزه بانمایند گانی از 124 کشور یکی از بزرگترین سازمانهای حرفه ای غیر دولتی دنیا با شبکه ای از1300000 عضو معماردرپنج قاره می باشد.
اتحادیه جهانی معماری با هدف ارتقا ی کیفی فعالیتهای اعضا در سطح جهانی با معتبر ترین سازمانهای بین الملی ونمایندگی های منطقه ای معماران همکاری داشته و به رسمیت شناخته شده است.

ساختار سازمان:

اعضای اتحادیه شامل گروهای ملی هر کشور که در در رابطه با دولتهای مطبوع و در ارتباط با سایر گروهها به صورت مستقل عمل می کنند.اعضای اتحادیه در پنج گروه جغرافیایی طیقه بندی شده و هر منطقه دارای 4نماينده نماینده می باشد.گروههای جغرافیایی شامل:
1-منطقه اروپای غربی
2-منطقه اروپای شرقی و خاورمیانه
3-منطقه آمریکا
4-منطقه آسیا و اقیانوسیه
5-منطقه آفریقا

سازمان دارای سه رکن می باشد مجمع عمومی ،هیات مدیره ،هیات رییسه .
مجمع عمومی که هر 3 سال یک بار بر گزار می شود و مجمعی شامل نمایندگانی از همه اعضا و هیات مدیره می باشد که در آن هیات مدیره انتخاب و تصمیمات اصلی و عمومی اتحادیه اتخاذ می شود.
هیات مدیره که شامل 4نفر نماینده منتخب از هر گروه جغرافیایی و اعضای منتخب هیات رییسه می باشد و حداقل هر دو سال یک بار بر گزار می شود.
اعضای منتخب هیات رییسه نیز شامل رییس،نایب رییس،دبیر ،خزانه دار و یک معاون به نمایندگی از هر گروه جغرافیایی می باشد.

مهمترین و جامع ترین فعالیت اتحادیه برگزاری همایش جهانی می باشد که هر سه سال همزمان با مجمع عمومی با شرکت هزاران آرشیتکت و دانشجوی معماری در یکی از کشورهای عضو بر گزار می شود. در هر همایش عنوان مخصوصی داردو جشنواره ای از کنفرانس،مسابقه، نمایشگاه و غیره بوده که بستری برای ارتباط فرهنگی و مبادله تجربه اعضا می باشد .
از سال 1948تاکنون 24 همایش برگزار شده است. همایش آینده در سال2014 در دوربان افریقای جنوبی برگزار خواهد شد. آخرین همایش های برگزار شده در سال 2011 در توکیو با عنوان معماری 2050 و درسال 2008در شهر تورین ایتالیا بوده و آخرین همایش قبل از آن که در منطقه جغرافیایی خاورمیانه و شرق اروپا بر گزار شده بود همایش 2005 استانبول ترکیه با عنوان بازار بزرگ معماری[Grand Bazaar of Architectures] بود.

2-مدال طلا وجوایز:

از سال 1961جوایز معماری هر سه سال به معماران برجسته اهدا می گردید.

  • Auguste Perret Prize برای تکنولوژی های به کار رفته در معماری
  • Sir Patrick Abercrombie Prize برای برنامه ریزی شهری و توسعه اراضی
  • Jean Tschumi Prize برای نقد معماری و یا آموزش معماری
  • Sir Robert Matthew Prize. برای بهبود کیفیت سکونتگاه های انسانی

و از سال 1984 جایزه معماری به صورت مدال طلای اتحادیه به عنوان جایزه ای جهانی در همایشهای جهانی به معماران یا گروههای معماری که در زمینه ارتقای هنر معماری فعالیت ویژه ای داشته اند اهدا می شود. و به عنوان نوبل معماری معروف شده است. معمارانی که تاکنون موفق به دریافت مدال طلای اتحادیه شده اند در جدول پایین آمده است..

3-رقابتهای بین المللی معماری:
از مهمترین فعالیتهای اتحادیه ، برگزاری رقابتهای بین الملی در ارتباط با معماری می باشد .به طوری که بسیاری از ساخته های بزرگ معماری وبناهای معروف ساخته شده عصر ما نتیجه رقابتهای بین المللی بر گزار شده توسط اتحادیه بوده اند .
بناهایی همچون اپرای سیدنی،کتابخانه ملی پاریس، مرکز ایندیرا گاندی دهلی، موزه ملی سئول، مرکز ژرژ پمپیدو ، وزارت خارجه عربستان سعودی در ریاض و.... بناهایی بوده اند که اتحادیه برگزار نموده یا بر برگزاری آن نظارت عالیه داشته است


اتحادیه معماران دارای کمیسیونهایی در راستای فعالیتهای دیگری در راستای آموزش معماری و همکاری با سازمانهای مختلف می باشد و در طول سال نیز برنامه های مختلفی با همکار ی گروههای ملی در کشورهای مختلف برگزار می کند
با توجه به عضویت ایران در این اتحادیه طبیعتا لزوم استفاده از این امکانات می تواند تاثیر مثبتی در راستای ارتقای دانش و هنر معماری داشته یاشد . این امر در ابتدای امر بر عهده تک تک معماران و در مرحله بعد بر عهده جامعه مهندسان معمار که نمایندگی کشور ما را در این اتحادیه دارد می باشد که فراتر از حاشیه های موجود بین گروههای مختلف معماری در کشور جایگاه واقعی معماری ایران را در این سازمان و در سطح جهان معرفی و در جهت ارتقای آن بکوشند .

World Architecture Day 2014: "Healthy Cities, Happy Cities"


The theme of 2014 World Architecture Day, October 6, will be “Healthy Cities, Happy Cities.” The UIA invites its members to organise special activities linked to the event, which will celebrate the role architects and architecture play in the vitality of the urban setting and in the well-being of its inhabitants.

How can architects design and construct “healthy” spaces, facilities, housing and urban landscapes which foster happiness, health and quality of life for city-dwellers?

By what means are architects able to bring life to cities, to infuse them with energy, to insure their viability, to anticipate and heal disorders, to forestall disintegration and to accompany their harmonious development?

Responsible architectural design has spotlighted the role of the architect aobligation to design a sustainable environment by means of an ethical professional practice in the areas of energy, implementation and materials.

This year’s theme for 2014 World Architecture Day was conceived by the UIA to illustrate the expansion of such practices and their impact on the urban space as well as on the entire city. The theme also is one facet of the UIA’s global commitment to international institutions who defend safeguarding

هفتمین جایزه معماری داخلی ایران و اسامی برندگان در گروه‌های ساختمانی

مراسم اهداء جوایز هفتمین جایزه معماری داخلی ایران در روز پنجشنبه ۱۷ مهرماه سال ۱۳۹۳ در مجتمع فرهنگی آسمان (فرهنگستان هنر) تهران، خیابان زعفرانیه، از ساعت ۱۶ الی ۲۰ با حضور شرکت‌کنندگان در مراسم، هیئت داوران ( دکتر علی اکبر صارمی، شامیل محمدزاده، شیرین زیرک، محمدرضا نیکبخت، مهدی گرامی) و جمعی از معماران ایرانی برگزار شد. طی آن، بیانیه داوری توسط مهدی گرامی قرائت گردید و فیلمی از تمامی پروژه‌های شرکت کننده در جایزه به نمایش گذاشته شد. در بخش بعدی فیلم کوتاهی از مراحل قضاوت داوران با حضور برگزار کننده در مراسم پخش گردید و سپس ضمن تقدیر از معمار معاصر ایرانی (برنامه جانبی) اسامی برندگان در گروه‌های ساختمانی به شرح زیر اعلام و جوایز به ایشان اهداء گردید
